The Medication Safety Coordinator will identify best practices for medication safety and lead medication safety efforts. Responsibilities include formulating medication risk reduction strategies from tracking and trending medication safety events, participating in the hospital's patient safety huddle and reviewing medication safety literature and regulatory requirements.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited college of pharmacy, CA pharmacy license, 2 years of pharmacy experience in a clinical environment, experience in data analysis, trending and report writing, a background working with teams and medical staff committees and experience coordinating and implementing projects. Prefer residency and/or knowledge of pharmacy related regulations and requirements.
