LOCATION: CERMAK HEALTH SERVICES
Under administrative guidance, supervise, coordinates, train, and assists in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy including data processing, inventory, drug distribution, and prescription, regulated drug, scheduling, and manufacturing services of the area. The Pharmacy Supervisor oversees union pharmacists and support staff.
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) from a school accredited by the AACP is required. (Must provide transcript at time of interview)
Must be licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Illinois is required. (Must provide proof at time of interview)
Must have at least three (3) years of inpatient hospital/institutional pharmacy experience is required.
Must have at least one (1) year of experience as a supervisor or manager in hospital/institutional pharmacy is required.
Proficient in operating personal computer and associated applications use to develop presentations, proposals, etc (Microsoft Office Suite) is required.
MUST MEET ALL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AT TIME OF APPLICATION FILING.
Participant in National, State and Local Pharmaceutical Association.
Experience in a union environment.
Experience with computerized pharmacy and physician order entry systems.
Experience with and knowledge of pharmacy automation, informatics and IT.

A copy of a valid State ID Card or Driver's License which identifies the holder of the ID as a Veteran, may also be attached to the application at time of filing.
