The Certified Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in the dispensing functions of the institutional pharmacy department.
The Pharmacy Buyer is a Certified Pharmacy Technician who is responsible for purchasing medications and supplies that are stocked and dispensed in the hospital for patient use. The Pharmacy Buyer coordinates inventory management and assists Pharmacy Leadership with medication cost control procedures
Requirements
High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
No previous experience required, but preferred
Pharmacy Buyer -- Three or more years experience as a pharmacy technician
