Assists the inpatient pharmacy department staff in accomplishing the goals of efficiently dispensing medications through preparation of bulk and batch sterile products ( IV solutions); providing drugs and supplies to nursing stations and all associated functions that are entailed in that process, and producing accurate patient charges.
Requirements
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
SKILLS: Effective verbal and interpersonal skills are required. Basic computer skills are required. Familiarity with medical terminology, basic math and reading comprehension skills are preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Must maintain current registration with the NM Board of Pharmacy
