Provide overall supervision to the pharmacy technician staff. Promote the department and coordinate activities to increase business and improve efficiency and effectiveness at the site. Complete work as a technician and provide customer service, assist in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies, unpack/verify stock-to-invoices and help maintain the pharmacy area in proper order.

*Manage schedules for all designated staff. Manage the attendance and/or E-Time System for all technical staff and approval of timesheets. Accurately track STO. Coordinate vacation requests and ensure proper coverage is maintained for all positions.
Complete work schedules and coordinate coverage for vacations/sick time /LOAs
Work with payroll and site staff to ensure accurate reflection of time worked for staff.

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education

• Fairview Certified Technician or certification achieved within 1 year in this role.

• Registered with MN Board of Pharmacy (or pending registration)

Minimum Experience

• Two years previous pharmacy technician experience.
• Preferred Experience: Previous supervisor experience
