We are seeking a Sr. Pharmacist Systems Analyst to join the Pharmacy Informatics team at MSK. In this role, you will work under the direction of our Pharmacy Systems Manager and Pharmacy Department.

The Pharmacy Informatics team is responsible for the integration of technology, data, automation and information as it relates to the overall medication management process. We are the team that bridges the gap between everyday pharmacy workflows and the ever-changing world of technology. Often working with other interdisciplinary and IS teams throughout MSK, our goal is to help support, streamline and improve workflows with use of pharmacy systems.

• Assist the Pharmacy Informatics team with the implementation, maintenance and support of the ongoing operation of systems used by the Department of Pharmacy, primarily focusing on, but not limited to, Sunrise Pharmacy (SRx), Omnicell, ConnectRx robot, PharmacyKeeper, Enterprise Rx (retail pharmacy system), RxSafe, Emporos, Lexicomp, RxSafe, etc.
• As part of a team that provides 24/7 support, triage incoming support tickets, either resolving the issue independently or recognizing what needs to be advanced for resolution.
• Works inter-departmentally on the testing and implementation of system improvements, changes and fixes, including documentation of functional design specifications, system configuration and testing.
• Collaborate with clinical/operational leaders in establishing goals and standards for pharmacy systems.
• Apply insights and a variety of analytical techniques to conceive process improvements and develop effective solutions to operational issues.
• Assist in the development, configuration, testing, training, and implementation of new systems, the revision of existing systems and support special projects
• Assist with preparation and design of utilization, productivity, and other ad hoc reports to meet internal and external reporting needs.

• NYS Pharmacy License and Registration
• A minimum of 3 years experience in Pharmacy Informatics or related fields.
• Experience in a complex, multi-departmental health care environment.
• Experience with hospital clinical workstation software, clinical systems and interface development
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, negotiating, organizational and time leadership skills
• Sunrise Pharmacy and Omnicell experience strongly preferred.
