JOB SUMMARY RWDSU LOCAL 200

LOCATION: STROGER HOSPITAL - INPATIENT PHARMACY SERVICES

SHIFT: 2PM-10PM

Under supervision, provides pharmaceutical care to all areas of Pharmacy Services including Inpatient and Outpatient services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (Must provide proof at time of interview)
  • Licensure as a pharmacy technician in the State of Illinois (Must provide proof at time of interview)
  • One (1) year of full-time work experience in a hospital as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Must hold active certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) program or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) (Must provide proof at time of interview if already obtained)
  • Must demonstrate the ability to type at a corrected rate of 15 words per minute (Typing test may be administered)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish

A copy of a valid State ID Card or Driver's License which identifies the holder of the ID as a Veteran, may also be attached to the application at time of filing.

If items are not attached, you will not be eligible for Veteran Preference
