Clinical Pharmacist Specialist (Mental Health)
The Mental Health Clinical Pharmacist Specialist (MH CPS), coordinates, and directs various clinical programs within the Mental Health Service and those programs requested by other services. Covers direct and indirect patient care, patient teaching, quality assessment, staff education and consultation and is often in association with or in support of physicians, physician assistants. nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists, social workers and others. The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, Psychiatry coordinates, develops, manages and controls the pharmacy practice programs for Behavioral Health Service Line.
