Pharmacy Supervisor
The Outpatient Pharmacy (OP) Supervisor is a licensed clinical pharmacist whose primary function is to plan, direct and coordinate the daily workflow and operational activities of the Outpatient pharmacy. The OP Supervisor provides first-line supervision of clinical pharmacists, technicians, residents, students, and volunteers assigned to his or her area of responsibility. The OP Supervisor will ensure compliance with all Veterans Health Administration (VHA), and the Joint Commission (TJC) regulatory requirements and standards for appropriate monitoring, dispensing, and distribution of medications by the Outpatient pharmacy section.
