Overview: SCOPE: Under minimum supervision of a registered pharmacist working within a licensed pharmacy, oversees the pharmacy operations and actions of Pharmacy Technicians in all technical, nonjudgemental aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping and inventory control. Assists in the implementation of departmental policies and procedures. Assists in the development, implementation, and review of quality assurance and safety policies and procedures. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Oversees the activities of other Pharmacy Technicians and nursing staff in the preparation, admixture, dosage calculation, and verification of all medication orders. -S
