Employee Programs

Racism and discrimination have no place in our health system. That’s true for our relationships with our patients and that’s true for our relationships with our colleagues. MultiCare has developed a number of education programs for our employees so they have the tools they need to care for all our patients in a compassionate and respectful manner. Those programs include:

• LGBTQ Core Competency & Sex, Orientation, Gender Identity and Pronouns (SOGI-P) Data Collection Training
• Qualified Bilingual Staff Program Leader Harassment and Discrimination Training

The Belonging Program

Recently, as part of the discussions about equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging that our organization has been engaged in since June, we have begun developing a more comprehensive Belonging Program. This program will serve as an overall guide to our organization as we travel on our Belonging Journey, with a special focus on our employees.
